Welcome to Marathoner In TrainingHello , In just four short days you will begin your journey towards a half or full marathon! What an exciting, and maybe somewhat terrifying time! Taking these first steps towards you goal will be both challenging and life changing. Each new season I am reminded of how special this group truly is. Several years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see my own mother (who had previously sworn off running of any kind ;) show up at one of our No Boundaries info sessions. Flash forward a year or so, after completing numerous 5Ks, there she is at one of our MIT info sessions and she brought my father along. Now more than five years into their journey I'm pretty sure my mother has run almost as many half marathons as I have. I never expected that this whole marathon training thing would have such a profound impact on me, let alone my whole family. Over the nine or so years that I've been with the program I have been witness to amazing transformations. Phenomenal stories of weight loss, fighting cancer, heart disease, diabetes, you name it. Epic stories of personal best, stories of frustration, stories of elation. Central Ohio has become a healthier place to live along the way. YOU are the momentum behind this change. Embrace the changes you will go through. Embrace the change you inspire with every step you take. You are motivating a friend, a family member, a co-worker to make the first step. And that's pretty damn incredible. I can't wait to see you all Saturday! Jeff Henderson I'm an annual member, so what about my jacket?
