As part of the JTSI Innovation Voucher program, up to $20,000 vouchers will be awarded to eligible SMEs to provide them with the boost they need to access professional skills, services or knowledge, enabling them to advance their idea or commercial activity in WA.

Applications are now open for MIRA, a pre-accelerator program for SMEs, scale-ups and start-ups in the METS sector and in regional areas of Queensland. NERA GM Paul Hodgson will be a mentor. Applications close 10 April 2020.

The Australian Government has announced a total of $18 million. For this round, $6 million is available.

The WA Innovator of the Year Awards — an initiative funded under the New Industries Fund — provides support to innovators and entrepreneurs across WA. It builds capability through commercialisation training and mentoring as well as acknowledging, showcasing and awarding eligible innovators, entrepreneurs, businesses and young creative minds.
