COVID-19 Continuity Pages: Student Life

During these unprecedented times, we see you and hear you. If you are experiencing food or financial insecurity, are concerned about utilities, health insurance, mental health, or your status as an undocumented student and/or international student, please see the resources listed under FAQ- Student Engagement.

We are also working hard to provide ways for students to remain engaged through online sessions and events! There are many opportunities to connect to the CGU community. You can follow us on social media (@studentlife.cgu) and like us on Facebook. Connect with Graduate Student Council or join a club or organization!

There are various ways to get involved, let us know how you’ve been engaging in community!

COVID-19 Continuity Pages: Learning & Research

During the new normal, we highly recommend you familiarize yourself with this semester's online education. Best practices for learning remotely include live or synchronous classes, where you meet and communicate remotely through email, chat, video conference, and other options. You could also conduct self-directed work through recordings, video or audio media, PDFs, quizzes and other assessments or other possibilities. Don’t forget to upgrade to Zoom 5.0!

The library is still at your service! There’s various e-books available and you can make a virtual appointment with a librarian.

If applicable, be sure that you are familiar with IRB and if anything is required of you during this unprecedented time. Click here for more information on learning continuity and here for research continuity. (Please make sure you have access to your CGU username, password and email address to continue to use Canvas, Zoom or any other CGU system.)
