Click here July 2017 UpdateI am often asked to give an executive summary of NEXT - so we decided to bring our vision to life in a sixty second video. “This is NEXT…” is our story in one minute – we hope you enjoy the new video previewed in this newsletter. As the video highlights, NEXT invests in projects we believe are transformational and inspirational - and our latest investment, The Cacophony Project, firmly ticks both those boxes. We share with you here a short video with Cacophony founder Grant Ryan – who believes Moore’s Law and open sourced development will be keys to getting to a Predator Free New Zealand faster. We also bring you a story about the release of the New Zealand robin / toutouwai at one of our environmental initiatives, Taranaki Mounga – and introduce you to Teia Kennedy, another of the talented young Play it Strange musicians we have a wonderful relationship with. We would also like to offer our warm congratulations to the Chairman of the Manaiakalani Trust, Pat Snedden, who was made a Member of the NZ Order of Merit for services to education and Maori in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Very well deserved Pat, you are a truly inspirational leader.
