Free Community Bus
Looking for an easier way to get around Strathfield? Hop on the new Strathfield Connector launching in February 2019! As part of an exciting community initiative, Strathfield Council will provide a free community bus servicing residents of Strathfield LGA. For more information on routes and service times, visit our website.
Australia Day 2019
Strathfield will welcome our newest citizens on Australia Day and acknowledge individuals who generously contribute to environmental initiatives and the community. Join us as we celebrate this occasion with a sizzling barbeque, fun children’s activities including face painting, a jumping castle and a reptile display!

Keep your kids active this summer! The NSW Government offer a range of rebates to assist with the cost of living. The Active Kids program voucher is available for eligible parents, carers or guardians to help cover the fees involved for sporting, fitness and recreation activities.
Throwback Thursday
“Crosby” 12 Wallis Avenue Strathfield
The house ‘Crosby’ on 12 Wallis Avenue was designed by architect John Brogan, as an Interwar Old English style brick house with hipped and gabled glazed terracotta tiled roof. Considered a key practitioner of the Old English style of architecture, Brogan was also the architect of the Tudor style homes at 2-4 Baker Road, Strathfield and 1 Wakeford Road, Strathfield.
