About Your Topic Expert: David Ries, a Business Development Representative at ConnectAd, assists with the assessment and strategy process for nonprofits to get started with the Google Ad Grant opportunity. He has spoken with over 1,000 nonprofits about the Ad Grant and talks with dozens of nonprofits each month about their needs and how to determine the best fit for their operation with both short-term and long-term goals. CSL EVALUATION: March 16-27, 2020 As the term comes to an end, it will be time for collection of CSL evaluation data. During the weeks of March 16-27, 2020 we will be visiting classes and collecting data from students and instructors. This process is important as contributes to increased knowledge about the impacts of CSL on student learning, community partner capacity, and instructor's engagement with the pedagogy. Please contact our Evaluation Coordinator, Razak Oduro, for any questions and, for instructors, to arrange for a time for him to come and administer the evaluation in your class. Faces of CSL showcases and celebrates the interesting and inspiring individuals who have been involved with the CSL program at the University of Alberta over the last ten years. Through images and stories, this project explores exciting and meaningful opportunities students, instructors, community partners alike have experienced through CSL. By sharing the personal stories of the diverse and creative folks that make up the CSL community, this project highlights how CSL has acted as a catalyst for inspiring positive change in the academic and personal lives of individual students, the university campus, and the larger community. |
