Trading with the EU? Have you applied for your EORI number?

In the event of a ‘no deal’ Brexit, you will want to ensure you can continue trading in the European Union from the 30 March 2019. This will only be possible if you have an EORI number.

Please apply for your EORI from HMRC by using the short application, which can be found online by using the link on the GOV.UK page "Get a UK EORI number to trade within the EU". 

Currently, it takes three days for a UK issued EORI number. However, delays are expected with the deadline rapidly approaching. Read more

Employment Allowance

Employment Allowance Reminder

The Employment Allowance has been with us for a few years - but it is worth checking that you are claiming on the correct basis. Remember you can make a backdated claim to cover the years from 2015/16.

The Employment Allowance is currently worth £3,000 as a flat rate deduction against the overall amount of employer’s NIC that is paid in respect of employees. However, there are some exclusions. Read more
