Covid-19 Lockdown Extended

Greater Sydney's lockdown has been extended until Friday 30 July. All residents are required to stay at home unless:

  • They can't work from home
  • Essential shopping
  • Caring/compassionate reasons
  • Exercise

The Public are required to stay up to date with local case locations and if you have visited any of these areas, get tested and isolate.

Anyone who attended the exposure sites is a close contact. You must get immediately tested, isolate for 14 days regardless of your result and call 1800 943 553 unless you have already been contacted by NSW Health.

Sports Fields during Lockdown

Council will be turning the lights on at the following sporting fields to provide a larger window of time for the community to conduct essential exercise during lockdown.

  • Bark Huts Reserve
  • Cooke Park (Grass field only)
  • Strathfield Park (Grass field only)
  • Airey Park
  • Hudson Park
  • Bressington Park (Dog Park only)

The lights will be on from 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM 7 days a week. Please be mindful that NO community sport (whether training or a match) is permitted during lockdown. Gatherings for exercise must also comply with the Government rules of no more than 2 people outdoors.
