Policy World Issue 79 December 2019 No images? Click here Home | Join | Events | InterMedia | Themes | Regions | Policy WorldDear The IIC’s 50th anniversary year is almost over and, as it draws to a close, I would like to thank all the speakers and delegates who have participated in our events around the world. We have just returned from our most recent – the Telecommunications & Media Forum in Washington DC. It is another example of how getting the right people together, talking about the right topics, provides a breadth of insight in a short space of time which benefits all participants well after it has ended. Click the links below to see pictures from the event. All of us at the IIC would like to wish you and your families season's greetings, and to thank you for your support during 2019. This newsletter takes the place of a traditional holiday card, and we have made a donation instead, to the charity Care International. Follow the links below to register for our first event of 2020: the Telecoms, Media & Regulatory Forum in Bangkok. Next year also sees us return to Brussels (24-25 March); Miami (27-29 May), and our first Telecommunications & Media Forum in Mongolia (8-9 July). There is also the IIC journal, Intermedia, to look forward to in 2020 – and I thank all our past contributors for making it one of the jewels in the IIC crown. Every issue contains articles written by experts on regulatory, policy, and technology issues from around the world. You can download a free digital copy of a recent edition here. Read on for all the above and more, including reports from our Chapters around the world, and news stories from the TMT sector, as well as a new video to celebrate our 50 years. We look forward to seeing you at one of our events very soon. Best wishes Andrea Millwood Hargrave
