The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be rolled out in the Strathfield LGA on 1 July. Council partnered with My Choice and Ability Links to host 2 workshops last week to help introduce the community to the Scheme. The workshops were held in Arabic and Korean and participants left with a better understanding of the NDIS and how to use it. For more information on the NDIS, visit the website. You don’t have to have a green thumb to join in, just register and turn up to Airey Park ready to ‘green’ our future! “The Broadway” Liverpool RoadThe shopping centre at the crossroads of Liverpool Road, The Boulevarde and Coronation Parade Enfield is also known as ‘The Broadway’, and is the boundary between Strathfield and Burwood Councils. The shops located on the western side of Liverpool Road between Mintaro and Hunter Streets were built in the early 1920s by Ebenenzer Ford.
