NAIDOC Week DIY Craft Celebrate Indigenous culture with our NAIDOC Week craft activity by making your own Australian animal mosaic. The kit contains everything you need to create your foam mosaic animal plus a NAIDOC-themed activity book. Drop by any City of Parramatta Libraries branch between Monday 9 November and Friday 13 November during opening hours. Get in quick as a limited number of kits are available. While stocks last.
Halloween Trick Basket DIY Craft Halloween is such a fun time to create a Trick Basket for all your treats.
Follow our instructions and put the pieces together to see your basket come to life....so easy! Drop by Parramatta Library between Monday 26 October and Friday 30 October during opening hours to pick up your craft bag. You will need to have a paint brush and glue at home for this one! While stocks last.
Busy Things
eResource of the monthBusy Things is a great online resource for children. For ages 3 to 6 years there are fun games to help learn letters, numbers, and words as well as art and music. Children age 7 to 11 years learn about science, maths, English and more with engaging puzzles, challenges and games. Access 24/7 from home with your library card & password.
Term 4 Online Workshops at Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library This term, WPCCL are hosting two free online workshops for adults. Isolation Relaxation: Yoga and Mindful Movements will be on Wednesday nights and Online Film Club: Conversations about Cinema on Thursday evenings.
Constitution Hill Shopping Village Open Week: 26 to 31 Oct 2020City of Parramatta Council is pleased to have delivered a $130,000 upgrade to Constitution Hill Village Shops, including new seating, gardens and parking facilities. To celebrate, Council invites the local community to join a week of free family fun activities, workshops, competitions, and promotional offerings.
