More residents working in the City of Logan

Recently released Census 2016 data shows that an increasing percentage of employed City of Logan residents are working within the city.

Journey to Work data compiled by the ABS shows that almost an equal amount of City of Logan residents in employment travel within Logan for work, compared with those who travel to the City of Brisbane for work.

The data also highlights the industries who employ the highest amount of workers.

Demand in market attracts unique new business park to Meadowbrook

Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy has selected Kingston State College as the first Logan-based School for their competitive pathways program into the resources sector and STEM industries.

Logan-based indigenous business, Snap Underwood has been awarded a supplier contract for the upcoming Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, creating opportunities for franchisee, Karen Seage to grow her business and employ more indigenous youths.

Meadowbrook’s recent addition boasts outstanding design, modern offices and is designed to meet the growing demand for warehousing, distribution and storage facilities in the area.
