Rooftop Soirees – connect with other parents and build community

The “Rooftop Soiree” is a new event for parents in 2016, jointly hosted by the College and LHC Parents and Friends. This event will provide an opportunity for parents from individual year levels to meet each other early in the year and also promote the role of Parent Coordinator which has been established to help parents create a network of contacts within their daughter’s year level.

The “Rooftop Soiree” social events will commence on Friday 15 April on the top level of the Bernadette Centre. This is a parent only social event where drinks and nibbles will be provided. The time will be from 7 pm – 9 pm (not 10 pm as stated on the LHC calendar). The event schedule is as below:

Friday 15 April – Year 7 parents
Friday 22 April – Year 8 parents
Friday 29 April – Year 9 parents
Friday 13 May – Year 10,11 and 12 parents (this is the night of the Year 11 semi-formal)

We encourage all parents to attend this event, especially if you have not developed a network of social contacts within LHC. It should be an enjoyable autumn evening against the backdrop of a fabulous view of Brisbane.
