Involved in a fender bender?

Collision reporting is key to ensuring the safety of staff and students and to complying with university policy. Report all incidents involving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle used for university business:

  1. Submit an HSE incident form.
  2. Submit a Protective Services incident form or call 780-492-5050.
  3. Submit an insurance claim form.
  4. Contact the local police authority to report the incident.

Safety Stand Down: March to May

In response to an uptick in serious incidents involving injuries, property damage, or potential for serious harm, the U of A has mandated Safety Stand Down meetings to identify gaps and to implement measures related to supervision, hazard assessment, training, and emergency preparedness.

Hauling equipment and boxes back to campus? Improper lifting may result in musculoskeletal injuries such as lower back pain and herniated discs that are difficult to resolve and can be debilitating. Before you lift, consider splitting the load or asking someone for assistance.
