Hello Brothers,

Our lodge has a lot of great plans for this new year with awesome events like Spring Fellowship, Conclave, and the May Induction; all of which we would love for you to be a part of.  I hope to see each and every one of you at these upcoming fun events.

I have a challenge for every member of our Lodge to seek out a Arrowman that may not be active and personally invite them to one of our events. With this challenge, we can double our numbers and keep the organization thriving within our Lodge and Council.

Thank you for being amazing and let us continue to work towards a better future in our Lodge and Home Units.

WWW,

Anthony Mills

Every April, the Arrowmen of Section SR-7B come together for a weekend of fellowship, competition, and fun known as Conclave. Some of the fun activities include:

  • The Order of the Arrow Experience (OAX), where people from across the state exhibit their skills and talents.

  • Quest Events, a series of athletic competitions between the different lodges in our section.

  • Section Elections, where the youth of the section elect next year’s Section officers.

  • American Indian Affairs competitions, where youth in our section showcase their skills in Native American Drumming, Dancing, as well as the different Order of the Arrow Ceremonies.

  • Entertaining nightly shows

To showcase our lodge spirit at Conclave, we have a theme. Our lodge theme this year is Crayons.

The SR-7B Conclave is routinely attended by more than 1200 youth and consistently ranks as one of the largest scouting events in the nation. This year, Klahican Lodge 331 will be hosting Conclave on April 16-18 at Camp Bowers near White Oak, NC. Join us for this colorful event by registering with the button below.

Spring Fellowship is just around the corner and is an opportunity to celebrate the past year and look forward to a new one. Beyond it being a chance for fellowship, it is the last lodge event before Conclave in April, so we are going to be busy holding fun activities throughout the day that help prepare the lodge to win the Conclave Spirit Award.

Brothers, if you are eligible to convert to Brotherhood, you have the opportunity to convert at Spring Fellowship. If you completed your Ordeal last September at Woodfield Scout Preservation, you are eligible to convert to brotherhood.

Join us on March 12-14 at Cherokee Scout Reservation. Registration details to be available soon.

Keeping your membership current is important to the Order of the Arrow at both the local and national level. Your annual membership helps support lodge programs that carry on the traditions of camping, service, fellowship and leadership that we have developed over 26 years. Maintaining your membership also helps you stay informed with lodge events and opportunities throughout the upcoming year that you don’t want to miss. Don’t forget though, that you must be a registered member of a scout unit in order to stay active in the Order of the Arrow.

Dues for this year are $15 and run from January 1st to December 31st, unless you completed your ordeal this fall. You can pay them by following the button below. If you have questions about your dues, don’t hesitate to email lodge70@lodge70.org.
