The future of the critically engaged university is a BIG social issue for our time. Critically engaged universities must address such questions of what kind of communities they are intended for? How will their community of interest be defined? What kind of knowledge is appropriate for a different university? Join with us for an international panel-based discussion that includes Executives, Vice Chancellors and Senior Managers focused on developing the critically engaged university of the future. Attendees will receive an advanced copy of this new edition of Australia’s Engagement journal at the Symposium.

In 2014, CSU established the Graduate Certificate of Wiradjuri Language, Culture and Heritage that aims to revitalise Wiradjuri culture and the Wiradjuri language. This one of a kind university course has worked to educate and support students to restore Wiradjuri culture.

ACAP Psychology Clinic Supports The Family And Friends Of People Living With Borderline Personality Disorder
The ACAP Clinic offers final-year Master of Clinical Psychology students the opportunity to gain hands on experience with real members of the community facing mental health issues such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The Family Connections program helps to connect family members of those affected by BPD to build a support network and facilitate a safe space for discussion and understanding.

South West Indigenous Cultural Trail
University of Southern Queensland (USQ) researchers have been assisting with the development of the the South West Indigenous Cultural Trail. Angelia Walsh from the Surat Aboriginal Corporation is an impassioned Aboriginal woman who has lead her community and her region through a process of cultural sharing. The trail was developed to share Australia's Aboriginal history and to preserve memories held by local Aboriginal people in South-West Queensland.
