Click here Dear NFDC Members, In this issue of NYCU, NFDC bring you exciting Demolition Expo news, a 'save the date' for this year's British Demolition Awards and a wide range of resources including BSC Safety Guides. Stay Safe, WILL WE SEE YOU AT DEMO EXPO THIS YEAR? Following Boris Johnson's public address on Monday 22nd February, which laid out a series of tentative dates for the relaxation of current lockdown measures and a proposed return to 'normality' on June 21st, NFDC are feeling more optimistic than ever that this year's Demolition Expo will go ahead as planned. Taking place at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, Demolition Expo will be back and bigger than ever before as the show joins forces with Letsrecycle Live. The co-located show and brand new location will feature live demonstrations, three exhibition halls, live seminars in the Demolition Theatre and an expected 2500+ visitors. Don't miss the chance of a long awaited catch up, with networking and drinks on the balcony at the onsite pub, 'The Inn on the Green', by joining NFDC at Demolition Expo on 15th and 16th September 2021. We look forward to seeing you there! APPLY FOR A SPEAKING SLOT IN THE DEMOLITION THEATRE Demo Expo 2021 will feature its very own Demolition Theatre, where three unique speaker sessions will take place during each of the two event days. NFDC will be collaborating with Letsrecycle Live to define the full conference programme for release in the Autumn, so now is your opportunity to apply for a presentation slot. You will be required to present for up to 45 minutes on a topic that is of relevance, interest and value to a demolition industry audience. Whether you’re an ISP with a new innovation, a Corporate member with a fascinating demolition project case study, a working group member with insights to share on a hot demolition topic – or you want to nominate a third party to come and talk to the industry, please get in touch. All you need to do is email: natalie@demolition-nfdc.com with your proposed session title, a one sentence synopsis of your content and your speaker’s name and we’ll be in touch to find out more.
