BASL Annual Meeting 2016

The BASL Annual Meeting in 2016 will take place 7-9th September at Manchester Central.

The BLTG Transplant Meeting will take place the day before at the same venue, Tuesday 6th September.

The BASL Nurse Forum Annual Meeting will take place on Thursday 8th September in parallel to the main BASL programme.

Asia Pacific Association for the Study of Liver - Single Theme Conference 2015 18 - 20th December

The theme of the conference is " HCV Infection and Disease,& Recent Advances in Liver Diseases". The scientific knowledge on Hepatitis C is expanding very rapidly with the possibility of curing this infection in a majority of the  patients. Advances in our understanding of the molecular biology, pathogenesis and immunology of HCV has led to emergence of new and potent therapies; such as Direct Acting Antivirals (DAAs), host targeting antivirals and nucleic acid based therapeutics.

King's Liver Golden Jubilee: International Summit 2016 16 – 18 June

Venue: King's College Hospital, London.

The Institute of Liver Studies at the King's College Hospital,
London will be hosting a two day meeting focused on current
liver medicine and scientific knowledge with a strong view on
developments likely in the near future. The meeting will
acknowledge the 50th year of the 'King's Liver Unit’.

BSG Annual Meeting 2016 20th-23rd June

Venue: ACC, Liverpool

The meeting will begin with the Gastroenterology Masterclass, which will host world renowned speakers from the UK, providing cutting-edge updates, state-of-the-art lectures and interactive sessions on managing endoscopic complications.

The main scientific programme will include basic and clinical science symposia, state-of-the-art lectures, clinical updates, moderated poster rounds and industry exhibition. New for 2016 is a whole day of live endoscopy which will focus on getting the basics right. The topic for the Thursday Scientific Translational Masterclass is the Gut Neuroendocrine System.
