Principal's Message

National School Chaplaincy Program

The best schools make decisions based on the needs and passions of the students, not the interests and traditions of the adults.

My greatest belief is that student wellbeing must be the focus in any school. A young person's mental, emotional and spiritual health is paramount for learning to then take place. Looking after the personal needs of students, their general spiritual and personal health is equally important to academic needs. We are unable to allocate any further financial resources to place more support personnel to address student needs at our campus. We have Counsellor Support 4 days a week and still have waiting lists for students to access support. An additional staff member such as a School Chaplain, would provide our students the opportunity to discover their inner strength, skills, personal identity and qualities.
