Bio-start Selects First Cohort: 15 companies join Bio-start’s inaugural synthetic biology accelerator

Bio-start is pleased to announce the 15 companies that will be joining the UK’s first synthetic biology accelerator programme. The selected companies from across the UK will take part in a 10-week intensive programme of high-quality mentorship, entrepreneurial training & workshops, with access to a global network of customers and opportunities.

Engineering Biology for a better world: a look back at the OBN Senior Executive Breakfast and the BioTuesday events 

Two recent events saw SynbiCITE working in partnership with OBN to connect with new audiences; a Senior Executive Breakfast at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London in late February, and the BioTuesday on ‘Engineering Biology for a Better World’ at the Mathematical Institute in Oxford in early March. Both drew on the idea of engineering biology as a technology with the power to ‘heal us, feed us and fuel us’.
