Australian Centre for English joins the "Tale of 10,000 Textbooks" to support Voice Cambodia!

The "Tale of 10,000 Textbooks" is growing in the telling, and the beneficiaries are young people in Cambodia who hope to learn English!

First NEAS and Voice have received an amazingly generous donation from Jacob Micelli of Bookery, with a large shipment of English language learning and literacy textbooks and resources, valued at over $150,000!

Next, Julian Wilson and the team at ICTE-UQ agreed to support the delivery of the books between Australia and Cambodia; a huge benefit given the weight of the books and the cost of the freight!

... now we can share that Cambodian based and NEAS Quality Endorsed ELT provider Australian Centre for Education (ACE) through their Principal Administrator Ashley Irving, has agreed to provide safe warehousing of the books prior to distribution.

Voice Executive Director Kristy Sanderson stated that ... "this donation is such a signficant one and what is also as humbling, is how NEAS' members are reachign out to help. Thank you!"

Nicola Gray joins the NEAS team!

NEAS is delighted to welcome Nicola Gray to the team as a Quality Assurance Assessor!

Nicola worked as both Academic and Campus Manager for Ability English's ELICOS centre and as an AMEP College Manager for Navitas in Auburn and Canberra.

Nicola also has experience in the management of offshore university partnerships in South East Asia and upon commencing ar NEAS stated that she was "very excited to be supportiing providers in their quality efforts"

Make sure you are covered by Copyright Agency

To deliver quality educational outcomes, English colleges access and use information from a wide variety of sources.

There can be some uncertainty around what can and can’t be legally used for copyright purposes.

The educational statutory licence, administered by Copyright Agency, enables teachers to provide the most up-to-date resources for their students.  It means your institution is copyright compliant and your fees contribute to the publication of new resources in the future.
