![]() Dear Sustaining Member, Our Fall Food and Fund Drive is in full swing through the end of November. Our first food drives of the season were partnerships with Avangrid Renewables and First United Methodist Church. Avangrid collected 140 pounds of food and FUMC collected 1,100 pounds of food and $450 in funds. Together, that's an impressive way to kick off the season! ![]() You can help Lift UP meet our goal of 12,000 pounds and $1,000, feeding our neighbors who face hunger in Northwest and Downtown Portland. This week, we officially began a partnership with Portland Fruit Tree Project, an organization that works with the community to collect fresh city-grown fruit and produce, feeding the community and preventing food waste. Lift UP will receive 800 pounds of apples donated by the Portland Nursery, grown for the apple festival they are unable to hold this year. What a "fruitful" relationship! ![]() Grand Central Bakery recently launched their Community Loaf Program! Each loaf of Goldendale Wheat purchased will be included in a Delivered Food Box, benefitting neighbors in the community who aren't able to access Preston's Pantry. Goldendale Wheat loaves are made with 100% locally sourced flour, which also supports local grain growers. ![]() From now until the end of November, Erath Vineyard will donate $1 of each bottle sale to Lift UP and Mudbone Grown at their new tasting room. Located in the heart of the Pearl District, Erath is offering reservation-only tastings. Schedule a time to sample their delicious wines while supporting the fight against hunger here.
