    BCcampus Learning Access Program for Educators (LAP-E) supports applicants to allow them to participate and share their ideas as well as learn from others. BCcampus aims to provide a diverse set of voices to its events and will balance regional participation with budget limitations.

      • Physical Geology - 2nd Edition (old edition will be removed from collection February 1, 2020)

      Support resources updates:

      ​The Frequently Asked Question guide is now called the  Answer Guide.

      ​New categories have been added to the B.C. Open Textbook Collection:

      • Language Learning: Arabic Language
      • Language Learning: Korean Language
      • Humanities: Gender and Sexuality Studies
      • Education: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

      We are looking for Subject Matter Experts (SME) from B.C. or other parts of Canada to review textbooks being considered for the B.C. Open Textbook Collection. See the list of Books open for review by Canadian faculty. Contact bookreviews@bccampus.ca if you are interested in providing an SME review.

      Help us identify the gaps: 

      Contact opentext@bccampus.ca if you would like to see open textbooks made available for specific subject areas in the B.C. Open Textbook Collection. In particular, we'd like to hear of topics in these areas: business, early childhood education (ECE), health, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), and trades.

      For the most current open education information, take a look at these continuously updated directories:

      • Information Directory - research, articles, blogs, books related to open education in Canada, the U.S., Global North, and Global South regions
      • Post-Secondary Directory - An inventory of all things open for each post-secondary institution in B.C., and every province and territory in Canada
