Black Truffles straight from Umbria You can't describe the cuisine of Umbria without mentioning pork, olive oil, and truffles. Truffles are harvested in the wild from October through March, which makes this the perfect time of the year... if you can get them shipped here intact... Our Winemaker Dinner next Tuesday, November 7th, is not only the opportunity to sit with a legendary winemaker from Umbria, but also a chance to have fresh Black truffles! IF there are any left you may see them on the menu for a couple days. But that's an awfully big gamble on your part isn't it? What if you come in on the weekend are they are already gone?
