Each site will close at their regular times on Thursday, February 16th and reopen on Tuesday, February 21st at normal operating hours. Its back to business at Tulare, Visalia and Hanford Learning Resource Centers to kick off the spring semester! Tulare LRC averaged 134 patrons per day the first week of the semester. The Visalia LRC counted nearly 3,200 patrons on the first day of the semester. The LRC houses the Library, Tutorial Center, Writing Center, Math Lab, Computer Helpdesk and TRiO. Hanford averaged over 1,800 users from January 18th - January 31st. Students utilize E65 in the Education Building to complete their school work and receive tutoring. Follow steps below to find out:1. Through Universal Login, click "My Library Account" under the OCLC logo. 2. In the upper left hand corner, click the drop down from Search, then "Course Reserves." 3. Search by Reserve Items or Courses. Use the * to view all. Have an extra textbook you don't need?We accept book donations! What are Reserve Books?The Library does not own textbooks required for most COS classes. However, many instructors place extra copies of textbooks and other class materials on Reserve. These materials are typically available for one-or two-hour check out periods and cannot leave the library building. The library offers photocopiers and scanners should you need to copy any information to take home with you. Textbooks and other materials available on Reserve are not a substitute to students purchasing their own textbooks.
