Funding Opportunities

 

BCcampus Learning Access Program for Educators (LAP-E) supports applicants to allow them to participate and share their ideas as well as learn from others. BCcampus aims to provide a diverse set of voices to its events and will balance regional participation with budget limitations.

The LAP-E assists with registration fees as well as travel, per diem, and accommodation costs. Learn more...

    One of the challenges of working in a relatively new field like open education is finding the community, tools, and support needed–especially at the local level. In April, BCcampus Open Education addressed this issue by publishing the first half of the Post-Secondary Directory. Read more...

    Easier customization: 33 OpenStax textbooks now in Pressbooks

    To all instructors who have been waiting for more OpenStax textbooks to be added to Pressbooks, your wait is over! Current versions of all 33 OpenStax textbooks in the B.C. Open Textbook Collection are now part of the BCcampus Pressbooks library. Read more...

    New books added to the B.C. Open Textbook Collection

    • A test bank is now available for Introduction to Psychology (University of Saskatchewan)
    • Native Peoples of North America has been archived as it does not meet the criteria for the B.C. collection. This book can still be found in the Open Textbook Library .

    Support resources updates

    • Evaluate an Open Textbook has been updated as well as the Find an Open Textbook and Evaluate an Open Textbook in the Adaptation Guidewith OER evaluation checklists from the Open Oregon Educational Resources.
    • NEW: Appendix C: OpenStax Textbooks in Pressbooks in the Pressbooks Guide
    • COMPLETED: Adoption Guide - 2nd Edition
