Learn and/or level up your curve sewing skills with this fun, three-dimensional Halloween project! Grinning Ghoul is a FQ- and scrap-friendly single block finishing at 16” square - perfect for turning into a pillow or embellishing a tote bag.
Design your own stained glass window quilt with Debbie. This quilt is made with one layer cake, 1 ½ yards of black fabric and your imagination.

Three Color Burrito Pillowcase for Middle School Students
This is a great “learn-to-sew” class for middle school aged kids. They will leave the class with a one-of-a-kind completed pillowcase!
In this class you will learn the basic skills for free motion and free form quilting which will help you finish your projects yourself. We will discuss choices for threads, needles, and quilting designs.
New Class!
This Make and Take class is perfect for a beginning to intermediate sewer who wants to learn about zippers in bag construction. These bags make perfect gifts!
This is a two session class in which you will use half-square triangles to make the classic (and usually Y-seamed) Carpenter’s Wheel quilt. You will practice (and hopefully perfect!) your chain piecing technique, and possibly push the envelope with some fast cutting techniques!

Yuletide Celebration Santa Applique Quilt Class
It’s Christmas squared! This quilt contains simple piecing and machine appliqué. Choose traditional Christmas colors or something else entirely. The finished quilt is 40” x 40”.

Kandy Korn Kitty Wall Hanging Class
Kandy Korn kitty is a fun seasonal pattern. You will learn how to do raw edge applique and embellish a mini quilt/wall hanging finishing around 16" x 21". Once you have made this, you can apply the techniques to other designs.

About class instructor Debbie Henry
When she was 10 years old, a neighbor in Raleigh offered Debbie sewing classes in her basement during a hot July. This sparked a love for sewing (and for AC!). In the early 1980s, after getting married and starting a family, her sewing room turned into a nursery. Later on, caring for her Mom post-stroke became crucial for her and her sister. Both of them were diagnosed with cancer within months. To reduce stress, Debbie rediscovered sewing and quilting by making a quilt named "Beating Cancer". Thankfully, both Debbie and her sister are now cancer-free. In retirement, "spreading the joy of creativity" has become Debbie's new mission. We invite you to share in Debbie's joy!
