Putting It All Together on School Readiness You have your greatest impact when you have a presence in your community. This session from the Funder Huddle highlights the work of two GLR communities: the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading in Florida and the Story County Campaign for Grade-Level Reading in Iowa, called Ames Reads. Both campaigns have achieved measurable progress in school readiness through different means. In Suncoast, they are piloting the Vroom app and have reached over 20,000 individuals placing the campaign as one of the top 10 sites in the country. In Story County, parents and young children have opportunities to connect with multiple program partners including Reach Out and Read – a program operating in partnership with Raising Readers of Story County and local pediatricians. Key representatives from the campaigns detail how they devised their strategies, maximized their reach and calculated their successes. • Moderator: Gail Hayes, Campaign for Grade-Level Reading WHAT WE'RE READING! !
