No Images? Click here HSIS Stage 2 Update - November 2017October and November have been busy for the Health Sciences Infrastructure Phase II project. Attendance was strong at our 'drop in' information sessions, with a large number staff and students visiting to speak with the architects and providing valuable feedback to the project team. We also achieved a number of construction milestones, with phase 1 of the relocation having now commenced. Adelaide Microscopy reception has been relocated and various other moves are scheduled over the coming months. Continue reading to find out more... Who's moving & when?To enable work to begin on the next phase of the project, the following levels will be relocating. 9 - 11 DecemberLevel 1 - Phase 1This floor will be the home of Centre for Traumatic Stress Studies, Adelaide Rural Clinical School, the Light Group, General Practice and UniCare. These groups will move into their new premises between mid-December and mid-January. 16 - 18 DecemberGround floor - Phase 1Student and Learning Services will move into their new premises on MSN Ground floor, in readiness for the start of Semester 1 intake. Adelaide Microscopy is on the moveAdelaide Microscopy’s reception area has moved from the western end to the eastern end of the ground floor of Med School North, with a new entry in the eastern end of the building at the rear. Signage is up to set you on the right track, or view the map online. This move is part of the ongoing Health Sciences Infrastructure Stage 2 (HSIS2) project. Eastlink City Tram ExtensionStage 3 of the Eastlink City Tram Extension will continue to cause traffic disruptions along North Terrace until January 2018. Adelaide Metro shuttle busesAdelaide Metro now have a free shuttle bus service (97A) to and from the old RAH to nRAH. A number of other bus services will also now go directly down North Terrace to the new RAH rather than diverting to Grenfell St or King William St. To find out more visit the Adelaide Metro website.
