Remarkable Rectangles with Vicki

What an exciting take on a traditional block!
Bored with half-square triangles? Why not go rectangular? In the Remarkable Rectangles class, you will learn several techniques for creating accurate half-rectangle triangle blocks of any size, and get acquainted with some tools of the trade. You will be introduced to a number of methods, each with its own pros and cons, then apply that knowledge to create blocks and experiment with a variety of layouts.
Templates and take-home instructions will be provided.

Everyone loves a Kim class!
In this multi-session class, Kim will break down the various parts of this quilt into workable sections and teach you how to use the rulers for each block section as needed.
This quilt has 3 sizes, is Fat Quarter friendly, and uses the Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer 1, V-Block, and Corner Pop rulers. Kim's sample is the lap quilt size and used 8 Fat Quarters.

Longarm Quilting Updates
We offer appointments with our terrific longarm quilting team of Linda, Katherine, and Christy.
This lovely placemat is a recent finish for our own Roberta! The quilting pattern is Wild Cherries with variegated thread. She used the placemat panel from the Autumn Days collection, available in the shop now.
We are currently accepting orders for late July completions.
Summer note: As there may not always be a member of our longarm team in the shop during shop hours, we highly recommend an appointment!

Are Masks Required at Cary Quilting Company?
At this time, we are encouraging mask use in the shop, but it is no longer required. Unvaccinated staff members are required to remain masked, and other staff members may choose what feels right for them. Mask use during classes are at the discretion of the instructor, and all groups renting the Meeting Center can make their own decisions.
