NEAS Welcomes Thai Education Delegation!

NEAS was thrilled to recently host a delegation of Thai Ministry of Education and Education sector professionals.

Working with the Australian Embassy and Austrade officials, NEAS outlined the Australian ELT educational environment to the delegation, whilst pointing out what strategies support a Quality ELT learning outcome for students.

NEAS already holds an MOU with Vietnam's Ministry of Education, GDETA branch and looks forward to a closer working relationship with its Thai counterpart.  

2016 Annual AMEP National Working Group

The 2016 Annual AMEP National Working Group workshop is being held in Sydney on 16 – 18 February 2016.  The workshop is attended by representatives from AMEP providers across Australia to participate in professional development, assessment validation and networking activities.

This year’s workshop will focus on comparing validation approaches within the context of the 2015 NVR standards for RTOs, strategies to teaching phonics to 'Pre-CSWE' learners and teaching numeracy.
