Two Innovative Research and Teaching Grants awarded: 

  • Michael Toce, MD and colleagues at Boston Children’s Hospital “Effect of Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs on Pediatric Opioid Prescribing and Opioid-related Overdoses” 
  • Andrew Micchiche, MD and colleagues at University of Pittsburgh "Case-Control Study Comparing the Expression of GABAA and NMDA Receptor Subunits in Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells in Individuals With and Without Benzodiazepine-Resistant Alcohol Withdrawal” 

 MTF/EMF Research Grant was awarded to: 

  • Daniel Nogee, MD, at Yale New Haven Hospital "Machine Learning Enhanced Diagnosis of Toxic Exposures"
