Recycled printer cartridges have been used for a number of great initiatives, including building new roads! Reverse Vending Machine MaintenanceThe Strathfield Reverse Vending Machine will be closed on Friday 27 July for scheduled maintenance works. This is to ensure the quality of life of the kiosk is improved so that our residents may continue to return and earn! Strathfield Council apologise for any inconvenience. Throwback ThursdayShackleton’s Corner – Henley Rd, Homebush WestThe cornershop and residence on the corner of Henley and Exeter Roads was built in 1922 for Joseph William Shackleton, whose family operated the business for 38 years. The photo is dated 1963 and shows advertisements of the period for Shelleys Drinks, Bushells Tea and Coca-Cola. This building continues to trade as a corner shop.
