JFC Construction Update - Construction Progress - Issue 36 - 4 May 2020 Karangahape Road under alert level 3As you are aware we have resumed work last week. We have set up site according to the social distancing guidelines discussed last week. It is wonderful to see a number of businesses are also open and operating in very creative ways. Health and safety and physical distancingOur work bubbles: You will notice some staff working in close proximity to each other. Due to the nature of some of our work this is unavoidable. We have created work bubbles to ensure that we keep to those in our bubbles safe and have our lunches and tea breaks together. Our toolbox talks have been adjusted and we have sanitation stations and conditions of entry at each zone Photo: Circular toolbox talk Photo: Conditions of entry and wash station Assisting businesses during alert level 3We understand that the change in how we all operate in these unusual times will be a key factor in keeping businesses going. The temporary parking spaces for collection of goods are now in place. The loading zone plan shows where these pick up points are along Karangahape Road and can be shared with your customers. These parking spaces are to be shared by all businesses, and should not be used for long term parking. We have noticed some vehicles are utilising these for longer periods of time. The parking team have kindly advised they will provide daily monitoring and enforcement. Lets all do our part to make these spaces work for everyone. AT have confirmed that for now parking in AT’s Upper Queen Street building continues to be free. Please look out for these signs which are up at demarcated positions: We would like to help accommodate Karangahape Road businesses in the new norm of operations where we can. Our Stakeholder Liaison, Mara will continue to liaise with businesses affected by our works to discuss individual operations under level 3. We also encourage you to make contact with us this week on 0800 KRD JFC (0800 573 532) or karangahaperoad@jfcltd.co.nz about how you’re operating.
