BNZ CORPORATE CHALLENGE IS BACK!Thanks to our generous supporters at the BNZ, the BNZ Corporate Challenge is back for the fourth year running and entries are now open! The past few years have been an outstanding success with the number of teams growing significantly year on year. The 2017 edition of the BNZ Corporate Challenge once again aims to entice a variety of riders – from those who have never stepped inside the Avantidrome before, to those who will be returning for their third or fourth time. It's a great opportunity for a unique team building experience so grab your work mates and take up the challenge! RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS WANTED!Are you an avid cyclist? Do you use Strava, a Garmin device or a similar technology to monitor your riding performance and experiences? Research at the University of Waikato (the Avantidrome's Tertiary Education Partner), is studying the different ways recreational cyclists engage with technology and is seeking participants for the study. Participation involves a brief survey and interview. The interview will explore how individuals use, interpret, and make sense of their digital cycling data and how it is integrated into cycling practices. All cyclists ages 18-65 are eligible to participate. Men and women cyclists welcome - please encourage any women cyclists you know! To find out more about the study or to express interest please contact Dr. Marianne Clark on 020 4111 6004 or Marianne.clark@waikato.ac.nz UNIQUE CORPORATE PACKAGESIt’s well accepted that getting away from the office to a unique venue for strategic planning and team bonding days is invaluable. If you're looking for something unique for your next team building day to really get your staff fired up then don't go past our Avantidrome Corporate Package. There’s the opportunity for your team to ride on the velodrome in a ‘Have A Go’ session and you can hear from guest speaker Alison Shanks, two-time World Champion cyclist, where you’ll learn about the characteristics of a high performance culture and inspire your team with what it takes to be the best. We offer whole day corporate packages that can be tailor made to suit the requirements of your team. Read on and give us a call on 0800 VELODROME to find out more.
