International Women’s Day

There’s still time to register for the International Women’s Day morning tea! This year, we will be joined by Dr Renee Lim, leading Australian actress and Stacey Gadd, Ambassador for Pink Hope as special guests. Donations received will go directly to Pink Hope; a preventative health organisation that support women at-risk of breast and ovarian cancer.

Hudson Park Golf Course Closure

From March 2019, the Hudson Park Golf Course will be permanently closed and work will commence on an Urban District Park. The Strathfield District Park will include a new driving range, sports courts, a playground, picnic areas, scenic lake, substantial tree planting and a café. Seniors, Receive Your Discounts!

The NSW Government announced that more seniors will receive discounts and offers through the Seniors Card program. Seniors in NSW will benefit from the discounts offered by participating businesses, excluding transport concessions. The new Seniors Card Program is part of the State Government’s commitment to help reduce the cost of living for seniors.
