Spotlight on Classes

Beginner's Hand Piecing

April 10  1:30 - 4

You will receive instructions for completing 1 hand pieced block (finished size - 6"x6".) Instructions will cover rotary cutting, fabric marking, pinning, sewing and pressing techniques to achieve desired results.

Playing with Blocks

April 9th, 1 - 4 pm

This quilt uses 60 degree angles to create the 3D block affect.  Join Kim in this class to create the Pinwheel block.  You will learn how to piece 60 degree diamonds easily.  Once you have the skills, you can create your own cubed quilt or use one of many patterns to make spectacular quilts.

Classroom machines are available to use for this class!

Machine Applique Technique

April 14 1:30 - 3:30

Learn the basics of machine applique while making a fabric "cheat sheet" that will help you determine which stitch you want to use in future applique projects.  

Class participants should be familiar with using their machine's zigzag and/or blanket stitches.

Classroom machines are available to use for this class!
