California Water Service said it is investigating claims from the pro-Iran hacker group Handala that it hacked the utility's customer database and publishes stolen information online. Operations and customer billing haven't been disrupted, the utility said. Cal Water supplies water to nearly 500,000 customers, one of the largest water utilities in the U.S. (SecurityWeek)

Australian sugar producer works to restore operations a week after cyberattack. Mackay Sugar said it has made progress bringing back cane supply, harvesting and mill operations downed after a cyber incident on June 10. Some harvesting and crushing is expected to happen this week, the company said, noting it is working with government cyber authorities to investigate the hack.
