BRP Equipment Fund - Closing Tomorrow

Applications for the 2020/21 BRP Can-Am and Sea-Doo Equipment Grants close tomorrow! The grants enable our surf lifesavers to purchase heavily subsidised Can-Ams and Sea-Doos for their lifesaving and rescue operations.

Benefits of Water-Based Environments Survey

Researchers from Western Sydney University, University of Sydney, and Macquarie University have developed a survey as part of their research to help better understand how bluespace (water-based environments) is associated with important health behaviours such as physical activity, and important health outcomes such as mental wellbeing, as well as gaining valuable insight into who accesses bluespace and who does not. Complete the survey for your chance to win a $50 gift card. The survey is open to those 18 years and over.

Head Above Water 24 Hour Swimathon

The Head Above Water 24 Hour Swimathon, proudly supporting Gotcha4Life, will be held at the Collaroy Rockpool, starting at 8am on Saturday March 20 and finishing at 8am on Sunday March 21, 2021. Registrations are now open so get your mates together and help raise money for a great cause, aiming to build mentally fit communities on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

The Head Above Water team are also looking for volunteers to fill positions such as water safety and swim marshalls. Head to the link below to learn more and apply!

The Aussies 2021 - Registrations Now Open!

The 2021 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships will be hosted by Maroochydore SLSC, Alexandra Headland SLSC and Mooloolaba SLSC from 16 April to 24 April 2021.

Entries for the 2021 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships are now open. Early Bird Entries will close on 28 February, before Normal Entries close on 29 March.

Grants & Fundraising

 

Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
