In case you were wondering how this fits in with the 2018 theme of Sew Musical, check out the entire quilt! Our owner Julianne came up with the concept, worked with Sandy Fitzpatrick to develop the design, and organized 8 Raleigh and Cary area shops to create one amazing project! This summer, travel to the 8 area stores and grab all of the coordinated laser-cut kits (or free patterns) to make your own slice of paradise!

Musical notes are sold separately, and the letter patterns are a part of our free pattern, so you can choose to add whatever you love to your quilt, like your favorite beach, boat name, beach house name, favorite island, whatever you love!

Thread Painting with Nanette

June 30, 12 - 4

This course teaches the basic techniques needed to color with thread using a sewing machine. Learn how to successfully use fabrics, stabilizers, and threads to create something wonderful!

Stepping Stones Class with Michael

July 1, 12pm - 6 pm

Everyone loves a good tumbling block quilt but not everyone is as excited with all of the “Y” seams. Michael's modern take on the tumbling block will have you piecing triangles and diamonds to create the same effect.

Cell Phone Clutch Class with Julianne

July 16 or 28th, 10 am - 12 pm

Create 2 Cell Phone Clutches in this class. The pattern is required and comes will all the accessories. Bring two 1/4 yards of fabric to make one for yourself and one for a friend.

Meeting Center

Laura celebrated her birthday with us, and she and her finished 15 quilt tops for charity in one day!

Our Meeting Center is ready for your group! Quilt related or not, the space is available for rent. Lots of great amenities, and a very reasonable rental price make this a great spot for your next event, whatever it might be! All of our classes also take place in this roomy space.

Longarm Quilting News

Betty is back in action on a brand new white quilting table! Now Betty and Wilma are keeping each other company, humming along throughout the days.

If you haven't had a chance to meet our quilters Linda, Katherine, and Christy, come "around the corner" and say Hi to them in the longarm room!

Orders are currently at a 6-week turnaround, but we look forward to making up time, now that we are two-machines strong! Many thanks to Angela at APQS for helping us keep Betty and Wilma quilting along happily!
