Acting Headteacher: Mr Peter Hyman Special Edition NewsletterOctober is Black History Month and Middle School have some upcoming events next week to celebrate! We would love to have as many members of our school community join us! Please read on to see how you can get involved. How was Britain shaped by the Windrush Generation? Students will be exploring this through assemblies and lessons with their coaching groups, and through the creation of a fantastic Middle School display, pieced together from the family histories of our staff and students. If your family has a story to share around their arrival in the UK, and you would be happy to share this with us, please do so via this form. We look forward to hearing about them! We understand that writing a story may be daunting, so if you'd prefer to speak to someone directly, please get into contact with us! Email Ms Silvain on asilvain@school21.org.uk and we will give you a call! Alternatively, if you would rather not share a whole story, please CLICK HERE to share what Black History Month means to you - we would love to put these quotes up around our school! Come along to teach or learn how to do an African headdress! Family Film Night! Half Term Holiday Challenge Black History Month themed dinner menu |
