With Thanks to our Quality Members!

The NEAS Quality Learning Series has already delivered 23 workshops in 2015 to over 400 participants!  These workshops are delivered completely free to the staff of NEAS Endorsed Centres, in every state around Australia.

We wouldn't be able to provide this service if it wasn't for the generous support of our quality endorsed members, demonstrating their commitment to developing our industry.

We therefore extend our thanks to: Fusion English; MIT Sydney; Kaplan International English; CIT; Bradford College; ILSC; Southern Cross University; Universal English; Southbank TAFE; University of Western Australia and Central Queensland University!

NEAS meets with Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training

In a follow up meeting to the recent Vietnamese Prime Ministerial delegation visit to Australia, NEAS met with key senior Vietnam's Ministery of Education and Training (MOET) officials to discuss matters of mutual interest at the Vietnamese Embassy in Canberra.

Through the Project 2020 initiative Vietnam is actively working towards upscaling its capacity to teach English to a much wider audience.  This relates to the ASEAN2015 decision to adopt English as the region's lingua franca.

NEAS is responsible for Quality Assuring seventeen English language teaching centres in Vietnam, and actively supports partnerships and collaboration between Australian and Vietnamese educational institutions.

UWA CELT achieves NEAS Premium Product Endorsement

After a rigorous process of review and validation, the University of Western Australia Centre for English Language Teaching has been awarded NEAS Premium Product Endorsement for its Academic English and Study Skills Bridging Course.

As a Premium Product, NEAS requires that the application be reviewed through a peer review process, that challenges the product on the grounds of uniqueness, authenticity and quality.

NEAS welcomes INUS Australia as the first of many new members seeking to join the NEAS Quality Endorsed family of English language teaching providers.

INUS ELICOS courses are a credit to them, and we look forward to their contribution to quality in the sector.

NEAS is also pleased to announce that the Malka Group in Victoria, are a NEAS provisionally endorsed new member.  The Malka Group are a long-standing provider of vocational and higher educational qualifications and courses, to corporate, domestic and international markets!

The University of Southern Queensland is a recently returned NEAS member, who has now achieved full NEAS Quality Endorsement.

USQ ELT's centre's commitment to quality was evident through its students feedback where even (and we quote) "the homework is useful and relevant" to supporting language learning outcomes!

Congratulations to USQ on taking this quality journey with your stakeholders!
