BC Rural Health Conference in Nanaimo May 11-13

The Rural Coordination Centre of BC is bringing its annual BC Rural Health Conference to Nanaimo on May 11-13. Rural and regional healthcare providers from across the province will gather to network with colleagues and participate in a wide variety of rurally-relevant CME and CPD, including plenaries, small group learning sessions, clinical snappers, and hands-on skills enhancement courses.

We would like to invite your Division members and their interprofessional team members to participate in this event. It’s a great opportunity to connect and learn, without having to travel off the Island!

The theme for this year is Provider Wellness. We will be presenting a pre-conference workshop (BCALM) as well as conference sessions on provider well-being, and are also offering complimentary massage, yoga, running, and meditation breaks between sessions.

Complimentary childcare during conference hours is available for the BC Rural Health Conference. Delegates are encouraged to bring their families and make a weekend of it!

Registration is now open, and earlybird rates have been extended to Monday, March 12. Physicians will be able to save up to $100 on conference fees if they register now. The conference is accredited for up to 12.75 Mainpro+ / MOC Section 1 credits.
