You’ll find me carrying out a range of duties from registering incoming email in our system, training staff in the records-keeping process, developing and implementing Records-related projects. At times work is challenging, but that’s part of the appeal of my role, the fact that it’s always evolving, unpredictable and rewarding. I really feel a sense of accomplishment when I know that I’ve helped staff gain the skills and confidence to capture and record documents and correspondence received at Council. By doing this, I know documents will be available to assist staff to carry out their duties. Recycling Week a Big Success!Four schools participated in Council’s recycling week, with over 100 students having fun learning about recycling and waste management. A very big thank you to the schools who also donated 130kg of clothing to people in need - that’s equivalent to clothing 130 people or 10 rugby league teams!
