Dear neighbor, Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the honor of stepping into the role of Executive Director at Lift UP. Interesting time to start a new job, right? The world is paralyzed by the pandemic and communities are experiencing a heightened awareness of social injustice and violence. Still, I have been moved by the passion and commitment of the Lift UP community. The need for connection, community, and empathy has never been stronger. These values show up in the faces and actions of our clients, volunteers, local partners, donors and staff at Lift UP. Food brings us together, no matter what. We take a lot of pride in the quality of food we distribute. In addition to contributing to overall health and well-being, quality food also promotes dignity and empowerment. This is why I am so proud of our community. The people who are devoted to Lift UP are invested and involved, even while maintaining social distancing. My experience directly connecting with Lift UP’s programs and services has been a particular highlight of my new position. Lift Up Warehouse:

Your generosity is so appreciated, especially during this challenging time. With your help, we’ve raised nearly $50,000 to continue to provide healthy food to our neighbors. We need your ongoing and new support, now more ever. Thank you for being part of this incredible community, and for fostering food and connection when we need it most.
Gratefully, Stephanie Barr |
