We are already in mid-September and would remind readers that the NEAS Quality Learning Series has a limited number of slots left between now and Christmas.

QALEN Launches New Website!

A key output of the 2015 QALEN Symposium held in Malta was the launching of a new website, providing a portal for signatory members to showcase their commitment to collaboration in Quality Assurance.  

The site can be found at www.qalen.com, and  will ideally provide a forum and launch pad for students, governments and other international stakeholders (such as quality agents) to confirm the quality credentials of their ELT centres, irrespective of the jurisdiction in which they operate.

ELICOS Round Table - 21st September 2015

The next ELICOS Roundtable session will be held in Sydney at; 

ILSC - Level 6, 540 George Street, SYDNEY NSW 2000 - a NEAS Quality Endorsed centre that we thank dearly for their willingness to provide a professional space!

Our previous sessions in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney have provided some very interesting feedback on our industry's commitment to quality in ELT pedagogy and over 70 centres have participated so far!

NEAS Presents - 2015 English Australia Conference

Under the title of "Why Quality Assurance; surely Accreditation is Enough", NEAS CEO Mark Raven will be presenting the commercial benefits of its Stakeholder Driven Feedback model to the Australian ELICOS Sector.  

Mr Raven stated that he was ".... pleased that the English teaching sector's peak body recognises the positive influence of NEAS Quality Assurance on supporting the student experience".  He went on to congratulate and welcome new EA CEO Brett Blacker on being accepted for the role, stating that "NEAS looks forward to working collaboratively with Mr Blacker and EA on projects of mutual interest.

NEAS Welcomes New Quality Endorsed Centres on-board!

The ELICOS sector continues to embrace quality, with over 200 centers either having completed or in the process of undertaking NEAS Quality Endorsement.  

NEAS congratulates Andrew Foley and the team for Bradford College's achievement in becoming NEAS Quality Endorsed in August!  Bradford is supported by Kaplan, and provides quality pathways to the University of Adelaide .
