Calculators and Hospitality Aprons and Hats

On Thursday 20 February, Year 7 and Year 8 students from both Port Macquarie Campus and Westport Campus have been invited to join together to celebrate the beginning of Term 1. This disco will be hosted by Westport Campus in their school hall.

The disco is a glow in the dark themed disco, with glow sticks provided as part of the entry fee for students to glow their best.

There will be a DJ with games and prizes to be won.

Online ticketing details will be provided next week to all Year 7 and 8 students. Parents can choose entry only or entry and food. The canteen will operate with small snacks and drinks.

 

Safe on Social Seminars

Kirra Pendergast from “Safe on Social” will present to students Year 7 - 10 at Westport Campus on 6 February.

Topics likely covered will include, using social media with awareness, keeping personal information private, online grooming, posting photos and sexting, safe social networking, cyber-bullying, privacy settings, what your posts say about you, identify theft, legal responsibility, gaming dangers, learning to read tween/teenager behaviour online and managing a digital footprint.

Swimming Carnival - Wednesday 12 February - 8.15am to 2.15pm

All students are required to attend the carnival (normal school day) so come along and have fun. Race, cheer on your team or enter one of the novelty events. 
All students to be at the pool by 8.15am for roll call. If catching the bus from school, a ticket can be purchased from Mr King on the day ($3 return, $2 one way). Dress in your house colours Bukari (Blue), Wirea (Yellow), Talwong (Red), Kula (Red).
Note: No footballs, shade tents, hair dye (if swimming).

The Westport Campus and Port Macquarie Campus P& C Associations invite parents and community to attend a presentation by the State Member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams on Tuesday 18 February, 6.30 pm at Port Macquarie Campus.

Mrs Williams will provide an up-date to the community on the plans for the intended infrastructure to the campuses. There will be opportunity for questions and answers.

This presentation is open to the whole community regardless of membership.
