Vale Reg Wood: The TeacherIt is with great sadness Surf Life Saving NSW advises the passing of life member Reginald (Reg) Wood aged 94. A highly respected and passionate lifesaver and advocate for the movement, Reg played a number of integral roles within Surf Life Saving for 77 years. Funeral details: 11am on Friday 19 March 2021, Thompson Street Community Hall, Sussex Inlet followed by a gathering of friends and family at Sussex Inlet Bowling Club. Eight Straight Titles for NewportThe 2021 NSW Open Surf Life Saving Championships, proudly supported by Your local club, wrapped up at Swansea Belmont and Redhead SLSCs on Sunday. Grants & Fundraising Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.
