Stakeholder news from Mt Hotham Contents
Changeover to Winter website on Monday 29 April The Hotham website will be switched over to the Winter version late on Monday 29 April, so the RMB and MHSC are currently in the process of updating information on the Winter site. Updates that come in as part of the renewal of RMB advertising packages will be reflected on the Winter site as soon as possible, so we encourage everyone to get their information in as soon as possible. If you have events or activities for the Winter season that you would like to promote on the Winter website, please send the information to info@mthotham.com.au along with photos or graphics. Reminder: RMB winter advertising packages Just a reminder about the RMB's 2019 advertising packages. We need your information as soon as possible so we can update your listings on the Winter website and schedule paid promotional and social media posts for the season. If you have any queries about the advertising packages, please call Brenna Sharp on 03 5759 3550 or email BrennaSharp@mthotham.com.au Are you listed on the ATDW? With the Winter season fast approaching, it's a good time to review your marketing and promotion activities. A very useful tool is the Australian Tourist Data Warehouse, Australia’s national tourism database of 40,000 listings, divided into 11 categories. State Government owned and funded, the ATDW collects, quality assures, stores and then distributes Australia’s digital travel information to over 250 distributors to use on their consumer websites and apps. If your products and services are not listed on the ATDW, you could miss out on the opportunity to be included in government marketing and promotional campaigns. For tourism operators who are listed in the database, the ATDW offers cost effective, digital distribution and significant online exposure and online distributors are presented with easy access to accurate, up-to-date, consumer relevant tourism content.
