Avantidrome News brings you the latest news from both on and off the track here at the Avantidrome. This April there is some exciting events and track programmes getting underway which you can be a part of.

Come down to spectate and enjoy the atmosphere at the track while teams train and race, or jump on your bike and be a part of the action on the track. Find out more below.

CAMBRIDGE SPRINT WARS

On Sunday 24 April the Avantidrome are hosting the first of the three event Cambridge Sprint Wars series.

This racing is strictly limited to 24 riders, so book in quick to this session to be a part of it!

SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

Bring your kids along to the Avantidrome to be a part of the Schools Sessions and Schools Racing. These sessions are exciting coached sessions for children to develop cycling skills, be active and of course have a whole lot of fun.

RIDE LEADER TRAINING

Want to share your love of cycling? Cycling New Zealand are launching a new programme called Ride Leader in the Waikato region.

If you want to share your passion on the pathways of this great region or be a leader for road cycling bunches, this is the perfect course for you.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY NZ PARA-CYCLING TEAM

The New Zealand Para-Cycling team, who train regularly at the Avantidrome, have returned from an outstanding campaign at the UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships in Italy held in March this year.
